‘’Fondements et enjeux communicationnels du sport en Afrique’’
La solidarité constitue l’un des fondements dans le poro. Dans ce processus initiatique, les néophytes, entrés Ensemble, vivront Ensemble les épreuves du bois sacré, sortiront Ensemble et resteront Ensemble dans la génération à vie. Le terme « ensemble » montre le lien sacré et infrangible qui unit les membres d’une même génération. Ainsi, la solidarité fonctionne sur le principe de soulager la souffrance de l’autre que l’on reconnait comme un semblable (L. Viévard, 2012, p49.) ou tout au moins, de l’aider à la supporter. Il s’établit un lien immuable et intangible de communication entre les membres d’une même génération d’une part, avec les membres de différentes générations d’autres part. Ce lien de communication ne remet pas en cause la relation sociale qui existe entre l’individu et sa communauté, mais se présente comme une posture permettant le fonctionnement de l’échange et du discours social. La communication dans ce sens, met en exergue le subtil lien entre le poro, école initiatique et l’ensemble de la communauté dans laquelle il est pratiqué. Dans cette réflexion, nous jetons un regard sur la communication dans les formes de solidarité durkheimienne, contenues dans ce processus initiatique. De façon pratique, nous nous posons la question de savoir quels sont les déterminants communicationnels de la solidarité dans le poro chez les senoufo ? Notre hypothèse est que le processus initiatique du poro se fonde sur la communication comme moyen de renforcer le lien de solidarité entre les membres de la communauté. Notre objectif est de décrire les articulations de la communication dans les formes de solidarité dans le poro. Notre approche est qualitative. Elle trouve son fondement dans l’observation participante du processus initiatique et les entretiens avec différentes strates de la population. Au plan théorique, l’analyse de contenu est convoquée pour comprendre la solidarité et la communication dans le processus initiatique du poro.
Solidarity constitutes one of the foundations in the poro. In this initiatory process, the neophytes, having entered together, will live together the trials of the sacred wood, will leave together and will remain together in the generation for life. The term « together » shows the sacred and unbreakable bond that unites the members of the same generation. Thus, solidarity functions on the principle of alleviating the suffering of the other, whom one recognizes as a fellow human being (L. Viévard, 2012, p49.) or at least helping him or her to bear it. An immutable and intangible link of communication is established between members of the same generation on the one hand, and members of different generations on the other. This communication link does not call into question the social relationship that exists between the individual and his or her community, but is presented as a posture that allows the functioning of exchange and social discourse. The communication in this sense, highlights the subtle link between the poro, initiatory school and the whole community in which it is practiced. In this reflection, we take a look at the communication in the forms of Durkheimian solidarity, contained in this initiatory process. In a practical way, we ask ourselves what are the communicative determinants of solidarity according to Emile Durkheim, in the poro among the Senufo? Our hypothesis is that the initiatory process of the poro is based on communication as a means of strengthening the bond of solidarity between members of the community. Our objective is to describe the articulations of communication in Durkheimian forms of solidarity in the Poro. Our approach is qualitative. It is based on participant observation of the initiation process and interviews with different strata of the population. On a theoretical level, content analysis is called upon to understand solidarity and communication in the initiatory process of the poro.
